The power of thought is far greater than how most of us perceive. Roughly 98% of the population would rather drift through life than to actually think for themselves. The most powerful conclusion that all of the top philosophers and success coaches are in 100 percent agreement with is that we simply “Become what we Think About.” Another way to understand this is “Thoughts Become Things.” According to one of the greatest thinkers of all time,

When we look at our state of economy, and the immense decline that is occurring it is very safe to say that the education model needs to be enhanced significantly. We have become a nation of Dependency, a nation where everyone is dependent on government aid and employment. It is not our fault this shift occurred long ago, it is what we are taught. Looking at the three systems of schooling, we can see the shift that needs to take place in order to restore the roots of free-thinking Americans.
Education System #1 – Conveyor Belt Education
This model of education tries to prepare everyone for a job, any job, by teaching people “what” to think. This includes rudimentary skills designed to fit them to function in society. Most public schools are conveyor belt schools, though there are many excellent teachers in the public schools who use leadership methods.
Education System #2- Professional Education
From apprenticeship and trade schools to law, medical and MBA programs–which creates specialists by teaching them “when” to think.
Education System #3- Leadership Education
This system teaches students “how” to think and prepares them to be leaders in their homes and communities, entrepreneurs in business, and statesmen in government.
For the purpose of this post I am going to be elaborate on the Leadership Education Model. The three primary goals of the leadership education model are:
First, its purpose is to train thinkers, leaders, entrepreneurs and statesmen–individuals with the character, competence and capacity to do the right thing and do it well in business, government, church, school, family, entertainment, research and other organizations.
Second, to perpetuate freedom, to prepare people who know what freedom is, what is required to maintain it, and who exert the will to do what is required.
These two goals are accomplished by the third:
Third, teaching students “how” to think. Those who know how to think are able to lead effectively and are able to help society remain free and prosperous. Those who know only “what” to think or “when,” no matter how valuable their contributions to society, are not capable of maintaining freedom or leading us to real progress without additional leadership skills. The success and perpetuity of our “American way of life” depend upon Leadership Education. (Thomas Jefferson Education- Oliver DeMille)
Obviously when we look at our country it is very clear to see what we are lacking… LEADERSHIP! Have you ever heard the saying “If it is to be, it’s up to me?” Well, I strongly have to voice my opinion on this issue… “I LOVE MY COUNTRY, AND I LOVE FREEDOM” I will do whatever it takes to maintain it. I will commit my life to educating the lives of each individual in my sphere of influence, I will help people understand that if they just THINK and THINK correctly that they can and will WIN in life! There are people who win in the best economy and people are winning in the worst economy this is because Thoughts Become Things! If we are taught “HOW TO THINK” we can and will raise up a new generation of thinkers to restore our “Founding Ideals” and will ultimately see a Leadershift.
